Conference Scientific Committee

The WORLDCSS Scientific Committee connects researchers and academics with relevant subject knowledge. Members evaluate submitted manuscripts, offer clear and useful reviewer comments, and strengthen the standard of academic discussion.

Eligibility for Scientific Committee Membership

PhD holders can request consideration for committee membership if they demonstrate appropriate research achievements and relevant academic experience.

Academic Appointment Requirements

Applicants must hold an Assistant Professor position or a more senior academic role. They should be affiliated with a recognized research center, university, or higher education institution.

English and Independent Evaluation

Applicants need a strong command of written English. They must assess submissions independently, impartially, and on academic merit. Their feedback should be constructive and observe recognized ethical and academic standards.

Expected Reviews Each Year

Members generally complete three or four reviews of conference submissions annually. Review timing may be adjusted to suit personal availability and academic duties.

Formal Recognition of Committee Service

After each conference, members receive a certificate in recognition of their contribution. It reflects their review work and associated scholarly responsibilities.

Reduced Conference Registration

Scientific Committee members are eligible to receive reduced fees for registration at later conferences.

Potential Editorial Board Service

Members can also receive consideration for service on editorial boards of journals issued by partner publishers.
