Dr. Kanokwara Phuangprayong is a lecturer at Thammasat University specializing in social innovation and social development. She holds a Ph.D. in Demography and has published extensively on social innovation and sustainable development. Her work has made significant contributions to advancing social innovation in Central Thailand, and she received the Outstanding Young Researcher Award at the faculty level from Thammasat University, Thailand.

Dr. Abdelkarim Bouguerroumi is an Algerian Notary Public and legal consultant specializing in notarization, legal documentation, and inheritance law. He serves as a trusted advisor to ministries, municipalities, NGOs, and private institutions, offering expertise in contracts, compliance, and governance. Dr. Bouguerroumi has presented at numerous national and international conferences, including a recent talk on inheritance procedures and asset protection. Mr. Biswajit Chatterjee is an electronics engineer. He completed his PGDBA from IIT, Kharagpur, and was awarded a silver medal for securing 1st position. He has 29 years of experience in the power utility. He is now pursuing a PhD in HR at IIT, Kharagpur, as a working professional. Poem writing is his passion. He has a special interest in sustainability, environmental consciousness, and community wellbeing. He always dreams of a clean and green world where absolute equity and peace prevail.
Ms. Florence Jose
Ms. Florence Jose is a PhD student at the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Mumbai, India. With experience in medical social work, her current research focuses on physicians’ health and wellbeing, exploring the roles of empathy and cognitive dissonance. Her work aims to identify strategies to support healthcare professionals’ wellbeing and promote more compassionate and sustainable healthcare systems.
Mr. Chi Yuen Lai
Mr. Chi Yuen Lai is a PhD candidate researching in areas of migrants, labour relations, women, and gendered relationships. His research topics: precarity, migration-driven precarization in labour, digital, and housing settings. He obtained a Master of Social Work from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2020 and a Bachelor of Social Work from the same university in 2015.
He has been 5 years social workers in the fields of employment support and asylum-seeking humanitarian assistance. Inspired by the complexity of problems clients encountered, he determined to study for a PhD.

Mr. Mainak Ghosh is a doctoral scholar at the Vinod Gupta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Dr. Anusha Shakya is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre of Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, with 5+ years of experience in research in Buddhist History, Philosophy and Ethics, Ancient Indian History, and Indology. She is proficient in field surveys and corresponding data compilation on socio-political subjects. She was awarded a DAIC Doctoral Fellowship by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India (2021) and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the Indian Council for Social Science Research. She is a certified academician in Pāli and Tibetan Language and Literature.
Dr. Dolly Purohit
Dr. Dolly Purohit, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, specializes in the maritime history of India’s western coast. Her current research, “The Presence of African Descendants on the Western Coast,” explores the rise and influence of the Siddis of Janjira in the 17th-18th centuries. With a Ph.D. in Medieval Indian History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, her doctoral work, “Marathas and the Naval Supremacy on the Western Coast,” highlighted the Marathas’ naval power. Dr. Purohit’s interests include South Asian-European maritime interactions, colonial encounters, and the dynamics between the Marathas and the Europeans, reflected in her publications and conference contributions.
Prof. Dr. Savitri Singh
Prof. Dr. Savitri Singh is an esteemed academician and a dedicated scholar in the field of Sanskrit. She hails from Sasaram, a semi-urban region in the Rohtas district of Bihar, India—an area where access to higher education, particularly for women, remains a challenge. Despite these odds, she has emerged as a prominent figure in academia, serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Sanskrit at Rohtas Mahila College, a leading women’s institution in Sasaram.
Since beginning her academic journey in 2003, Prof. Singh has made remarkable contributions to the study and interpretation of ancient Indian texts. Her areas of expertise include the Mahabharata, the Bhagavad Gita, the Manusmriti, and other classical Sanskrit scriptures. Her research offers deep philosophical and cultural insights, bridging traditional wisdom with contemporary understanding.
Prof. Singh is not only a scholar but also a passionate advocate for women’s education. She envisions and actively works towards creating a robust academic environment that promotes quality literacy and research-driven higher education, especially in regions where educational opportunities for women are limited.

Assoc. Prof. Sabikun Naher
Assoc. Prof. Sabikun Naher is an archaeologist and is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Archaeology at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. She completed both her BSS and MSS in archaeology from the same University. She also achieved an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree in ‘Archaeological Materials Science’ with the highest distinction from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, in collaboration with Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and the University of Evora, Portugal. Her research interests mainly include archaeometallurgy, cannon technology, the politics of museum display, and conservation. Naher teaches various courses, including ‘Introduction to Archaeology’, ‘Theory and Practice in Archaeology’, and ‘Archaeometallurgy of South Asia’.

Ms. Sunaina Rai is an ICSSR (Indian Council of Social Science Research) Doctoral Fellow currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Sociology at Sikkim University, India. She holds an M.Phil. and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the same institution. Her research interests lie in the Sociology of the Body, Gender Studies, Women’s Studies, Social Change and Development, and Cultural and Ethnic Studies. My research area is agricultural practice in the disaster-prone area of the Indian Sundarbans delta, and I am deeply interested in the field of geospatial analysis in the contemporary world. I got the UGC JRF award in Geography from the Ministry of Human Resources Management, Government of India.
MSC. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien
MSC. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien is a lecturer in the Department of English at FPT University, Hanoi, where she teaches academic reading and writing. She graduated from Vietnam National University and previously taught at the University of Industrial Arts, where she developed her interest in the intersection between creative expression and literature. Her research focuses on literary psychoanalysis, Jungian theory, and the role of visual art in modern fiction, with a particular emphasis on the works of Haruki Murakami. She is especially interested in how symbolic creativity can serve as a pathway to inner transformation, both in literature and in the learning process.

Ms. Tamanna Nambiar
Ms. Tamanna Nambiar is a student at Harrow International School Bengaluru, currently pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with a focus on History, Economics, and Literature. She founded EquityEd, an initiative promoting inclusive education and sustainable development in underserved communities across Karnataka, India. A published researcher, Tamanna,
presented her research on British colonial exploitation in Malwa (1780–1830) at the 8th International Conference on Advanced Research in Social Sciences held at Worcester College, University of Oxford. Tamanna is a passionate youth advocate and global citizen. She spoke on the “Youth-Led Action for the SDG” panel at the 2025 UN ECOSOC Youth Forum – 1 Million For 1 Billion (1M1B) Side Event, highlighting grassroots sustainability initiatives. As a 1M1B Changemaker, she was among 15 youth leaders invited to meet President Droupadi Murmu to present community impact projects.
Tamanna also represented India at the 2024 ECOSOC Youth Forum at the UN Headquarters and currently serves as a Youth Fellow with the Learning Planet Alliance. Tamanna is also the author of Nadia, a children’s book on war and displacement. She has also served as an editor at The CGA Press and contributed to international platforms like SheQuality.Tamanna is a socially conscious writer, a capable leader, and a bridge between literature, activism, and media.
Mr. Ankur Shukla
Mr. Ankur Shukla is a historian specializing in labour history, with an M.Phil. on Delhi’s industrial and urban evolution (1921–1951). He received the Junior Research Fellowship from the Indian Council of Historical Research (2015–16). His research interests span labour history, public policy, and human well-being. Currently pursuing a PhD on the wellbeing of Indian industrial workers across colonial and post-colonial periods, his work critically engages with informality, state regulation, and the historical roots of contemporary labour market challenges in India.

Ms. Subhashini Ramasubramanian is a PhD scholar at IIT Kharagpur, India. Her current research focuses on advancing Indian Health Psychology by developing an Integral Well-being model and scale grounded in Ayurvedic and contemporary well-being frameworks.

Ms. Soumanti Sinha is currently a Doctoral Scholar at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences in the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. She completed her Graduation in Psychology from Loreto College, Kolkata, and earned her Master’s in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University with a First Class First Gold Medal. Her research interest lies in studying the paradoxes of human life and how organizations can benefit from these paradoxes. A published researcher in her field, she will be presenting at the World Conference on Social Sciences on how leadership shapes the experience of paradoxical tensions among India’s IT sector employees. Mr. LAU, Hok-Yin
Mr. LAU, Hok-Yin, possesses two Master’s degrees in Arts, one in linguistics from the University of Hong Kong with distinction and the other in philosophy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Dean’s List designation. Currently, Lau is working on his Ph.D. in discourse analysis of lyrics at the University of Reading (U.K.), while serving as a lecturer at Saint Francis University, Hong Kong, teaching institute-wide English courses and linguistics. Driven by a passion for music, especially the music of The Beatles in the 1960s and post-Beatles musicians such as Queen, The Eagles, and Elton John, Lau combines music and language studies in his research. He is also passionate about philosophy, Heideggerian philosophy, and Chinese philosophy in particular.

Ms. Chayanika Samanta is a final-year postgraduate student in South and Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Calcutta. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in History with First Class Honours from Bidhannagar College, under West Bengal State University. Her research is rooted in the critical study of conflict zones, strategic affairs, and refugee and migration studies within South and Southeast Asia. He has completed his graduation and postgraduation in History from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Ms. Shyama Sadasivan is a Research Scholar at IIT Kharagpur, India, with a focus on women from hereditary performance traditions in Tamil popular culture. She completed her graduation and postgraduation in English Literature from Delhi University. Apart from academia, her interests lie in theatre and visual media. Mr. Seksin Seemapollakul is a lecturer at the Faculty of Police Science, Royal Police Cadet Academy (RPCA), Thailand, specializing in Criminology and Financial Crime Investigation. Dr. Niranjan Ojha obtained his doctorate in history from Tribhuvan University. He is currently employed at the Central Department of History as an Associate Professor of History. Dr. Muhamad Azwan Abd Rahman, PhD, is a Research Fellow at IKMAS, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and his expertise is the sociology of development. He is a former Lead Regional Evaluator (LRE) appointed under the All-Party Parliamentary Group Malaysia – Sustainable Development Goals (APPGM-SDG) and Lead Drafter of the Malaysia MADANI Strategic Plan and Malaysia MADANI Module under the Community Communication Office, Malaysia Prime Minister Office (PMO). Dr. Peter Voo is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He obtained his Bachelor of Social Science in Social Work (B. Soc. Sc. Ms Vanessa Hoi Mei CHEUNG is currently a Lecturer in the psychology stream at the Caritas Institute of Higher Education, and a Ph.D. student at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests focus on mixed research methods in the fields of schizophrenia, stigma and social integration, online gaming, ICT, and social capital.

Mr. Valeriu Mihai PANOIU, PhD student at The Romanian Academy, ‘G. Calinescu’ History and Literary Theory Institute, with a thesis on authority strategies in old Romanian literature. Research fields: discourse analysis, argumentation, literary theory, medieval history and mentalities, Romanian literature (16h – 18th centuries).
